2012년 4월 SQL Server 2012 출시되면서 MSSQL 서버프로그램 WorkGroup Edition 과 Standard Edition 이 통합(WorkGroup Edition 단종) 되고, processor license(PL)가 Core license(CL) 로 변경되었습니다.

SQL Core license 라이센스의 경우 물리적인CPU 의 HT(Intel CPU Hyper Threading)기술의 쓰레드는 core 에 포함되지 않습니다.

예) SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition 이용시 물리적인 cpu 코어 6개 일경우 = 기본4core + 추가 2core = 525,000원
SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition 이용시 물리적인 cpu 코어 2개 일경우 = 기본4core 이용 = 350,000원
SQL Web Edition 제품의 경우 웹사이트 연동형 제품으로만 사용이 가능합니다 (응용프로그램 및 그룹웨어 연동 불가)
오선닷컴의 MS 관련 제품의 라이센스의 경우 오선닷컴의 IDC에서만 이용이 가능합니다.
(서버 반출시 라이센스 임대계약의 효력이 상실 됩니다.)
